Historic New England grants permission on a one-time, non-exclusive basis. A fee, determined by the information provided in your request, will be emailed to you for approval before processing your request. The fee includes both the cost of reproducing the image (or providing it electronically) and the charge for using the image in a project (for example, in a book). A sample of our standard permission letter can be obtained upon request.
