This Educator's Resource Guide is designed to help you make the most of a class visit to the exhibition, Cherished Possessions: A New England Legacy. Drawn from the collections of the Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities, the exhibition includes a wide variety of objects, including furniture, photographs, paintings and textiles, and explores more than 300 years of New England history. This resource guide allows teachers to focus on specific themes within the exhibition that relate to their classroom teaching.
